Glad to hear you like the recommendations! I haven't read anything by Orson Scott Card, so Ender's Game it is. I've been looking for something new..
1) My respect for you was already high, but now it's through the roof after seeing you recommend not one but two Marylinne Robinson books AND a Redwall book. Good stuff.
2) If you haven't already, you need to read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. That is my favorite fiction book of all time. Followed closely by most of the Redwall series and then Gilead.
