What is a nerdlet?
A Nerdlet (noun) is a tiny thought or idea generated by a mind obsessively interested in a particular topic or set of topics (in this case, in Christianity, culture, and computing). This blog is a repository of nerdlets: Thomas Keene’s thoughts and ideas on the intersection of Christian theology, world culture, and open-standard computing.
The goal of this blog is to highlight the variety of useful resources, both online and in-print, that pastors, amateur theologians, and academics can use to help develop and spread their own ideas for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Posts are designed to help Christians harness the power of computing and the online world for research and proclamation. but also include book recommendations, political topics, and my own musings on theology and culture.
So, while the primary reason for this set of topics is personal interest, it is my hope that it will be useful to Christians interested in the interplay of theology and culture, and particularly those who want to harness their computers for greater impact in and for God’s kingdom.
